The French Social Model

Presented by Igor Maury

————————————————-

The French Social Model is a comprehensive welfare system prioritizing high social protection, job security, and universal public services (healthcare/education). Funded by high taxes and social contributions, it features strong collective bargaining and a generous safety net.  The model remains a fundamental part of French identity and social cohesion, prioritizing equality and social protection over market liberalism.
